Friends Gathering
Today is the 3rd day(年初三) of chinese new year.
My wife's friends come to our house for new year gathering.
They bring along their kids to join this gathering.

Night Photo
Seldom got the chance to take photo at night.
So i decided to go take some night photo together with my friends, Jason and Daniel.
Jason is my ex-colleague from Sony Square. He just bought a new Canon 450D few days back and today is good time to test the camera quality. ^^
After taking few shots, i realize that night photo is very difficult and required a lot of skill.
A bit hand shake mean that the photo will become blur.
We took about 4-5 hours taking night photo at Boat Quay.
It's really a very enjoying experience for this night photo trip. ^^

Reunion Dinner
I didn't go back to Kuching this year. So i am going to celebrate chinese new year in singapore this year.
As usual, we go for reunion dinner at my wife's grandmother house.
Every year, my wife's grandmother will prepare steamboat during reunion dinner.
Everyone sit together and chit chat while eating steamboat together. ^^

Elva's 2 Years Old Birthday
21th of Jan is my precious daughter,Elva 2 years old birthday. ^^
We didn't have any big celebration on that day and we just held a simple mini barbeque party.
Not much peoples were invited on that day too because Chinese New Year is coming soon and everyone seem like busy shopping. Hehe..
Anyway, we don't need so many people since this is just a mini party.
This mini party was held at the barbeque pit beside my house. A small barbeque pit. ^^
My daughter was extremely happy on that day. She run here and there non-stop.
Some of my friends also come to join this party after work.
They are Roy, Jason and Daniel. Thanks for coming ^^.
See how cute is my little princess?? Happy birthday to you !!
Beside the barbeque pit is a playground. My son and daughter enjoy playing there while waiting for the food to be ready.
Everything is ready now!! It's time to get the fire done so we can start barbeque. ^^
I hate to start up the fire. It is really slow and tiring. = ="
It took me almost 35 mins to get the fire up.
Finally my wife is here too. I am the only one that set up everything before she is here. = ="
Hot dog!! My favourite..
After my wife come,i start resting aside and enjoy my coke. ^^
Our friend,Joanne is here too. She rush here after work. Thanks for coming. ^^
It almost 8 pm now... The sky is getting darker now...
Yummy!! My daughter like to eat hot dog too. hehe..

My son birthday is coming soon too. We had promised him that we will held a party for him too.

Food Of The Day
My Food Of The Day for today.. ^^
Bak Kut Teh!!
It's been so long since the last time i eat Bak Kut Teh at serangoon.
And today finally i got the chance to taste it again. ^^
Bak Kut Teh (肉骨茶）is a very popular soup at here.
It consists of meaty pork ribs in a complex broth of herbs and spices,and then boiled together with pork bones for hours.
And it really taste good!! ^^

Happy Chines New Year ^^
Chinese new year is coming soon.
A lot of people are busy preparing the chinese new year's goods.
The atmosphere in singapore here is not that "hot enough" if compare to my hometown,Malaysia.
And with the recent economy crisis, i believe not much people are in good mood to celebrate the up coming chinese new year ( including myself.. "= =)
2008 is not a good year for me though. Even though the economy crisis didn't have any big impact on myself,but it did effect my business.
Personally i wish that economy can recover as soon as possible in 2009.
And i also wish that my career can move advance to higher level in this year.
This is my biggest wish in this 2009.
This year is a OX year. And my wife is extreamly happy this year because her chinese horoscope is ox.
She been waiting for this year for quite some time ago.
So this year should be her lucky year. ^^
Even though not much mood to shop around,but my wife and i had decided to bring the kids out to shopping mall to enjoy the new year's atmosphere.
We decide to bring our kids to Parkway Parade to have a look on the new year's decoration inside the Parkway shopping mall.
It was very crowded inside the Parkway Parade shopping mall.
A lot of people are busy buying new clothes, new year's sticker and etc.
And i also noticed that some just window shopping without buying.
Maybe they are waiting for MEGA SALE. Hehe...
My son and daughter are very happy when they saw the Chinese New year decoration inside the shopping mall.
Chinese New Year song also can be easily heard once we step into the shopping mall.
We didn't look much on the new year's goody this year as we heard from friends that the goody this year is a bit expensive if compare to the past few years.
We spent few hours down there and straight head back home due to the weather turn cloudy out of sudden.
Even though this trip is short,but i can see the happy and tiring face from both of my kids. ^^
Chinese New Year is always a happy event for small kids.
I really miss my childhood day.
During my childhood day,i always waiting for chinese new year to come. ^^
Wish all of you out there "HAPPY COW YEAR!! 恭喜发财!!"

Both of my kids keep asking where we are going to when we are on the way to take bus.
Waiting need a lot of patient. And seem like my daughter is not belong to that type. = ="
She start lose her temper after we wait for the bus for about 10 mins.
She doens't want to talk to me when i trying to tease her. = ="
Finally she asked my wife to carry. Lazy girl. = ="
After the bus came, she fall asleep once she get into the bus.
Old Chang Kee is my favourite. I always come here to buy carrot cake and chicken nugget. It really taste good. ^^
